Made in the Shade is a free community festival happening at the Shadelands SportsMall in Walnut Creek. This popular annual event features:

Live music Food trucks and ice cream Craft beer from Calicraft Brewing Co. Sports activities including: Yoga, Soccer, Gymnastics, Volleyball, Basketball, Taekwondo, and Batting cages.

Special attractions include a pink fire engine from Project Pink Wheels and a mobile pet adoption van from Joybound People & Pets. Free Made in the Shade sunglasses will be given out at check-in while supplies last. Local businesses and nonprofits can participate by registering for exhibitor tables.
