Comedy Night at The Greenery
1551 Marchbanks Rd.,
Walnut Creek
Another night of laughs hosted by Pat McCoy and featuring Kathy Guest along with Co-Headliners Robert Omoto and Marc Yaffee.
Kathy Guest is a bay-area-based stand-up and Second City-trained sketch comedian who has performed with Sammy Obeid and hosted for Larry Bubbles Brown. She's performed at clubs including the Improv, at wineries, and at festivals all over the country including SketchFest. She was a finalist in the Battle of the Bay Comedians and placed in the top 3 for the Plethos Comedy Contest.
Robert "Bobby" Omoto has a flair for bringing the seemingly random tangents that make up his inner thoughts into a well-oiled if not a tad off-kilter, comedy machine. His razor-sharp wit combined with a ridiculous life journey, meld into a rip-roaring, off-the-cuff entertaining comedy experience. Robert was named a StandUp NBC semi-finalist and has been seen on America’s Funniest Videos, and on Amazon Prime. He has performed at Sketchfest, the San Luis Obispo Comedy Festival, the San Diego Comedy Festival, the NoHo Comedy Festival, San Francisco Comedy Competition, for the U.S. Navy, and is the host/producer of the popular podcast "Random Thoughts." He is a regular at comedy clubs across the country and has opened for Godfrey, Pablo Francisco, Bobcat Goldthwait, Bret Ernst, Greg Proops, Phil Hanley, Sarah Tiana, Rex Navarrete, TK Kirkland, Karlous Miller, Joey Medina, and Mike Epps. Robert is a rising comedian out of Sacramento, California not to be missed.
Marc Yaffee’s diverse comedy career has landed him in 43 states and 11 countries spanning 4 continents. He is a co-star of the Showtime special, Goin’ Native. He can also be seen on Amazon Prime and his own Dry Bar comedy special, Mid-Laugh Crisis. He has also been seen on PBS, FNX, The Latino Laugh Festival, and Comics Unleashed. Marc was a "Best of the Fest" selection at the 2022 Burbank Comedy Festival and was named one of the 25 Indigenous Comedians to watch by IllumiNatives Magazine. Minneapolis Star-Tribune’s Tom Horgen said Marc’s comedy, “Tore the house down.” Funny, not filthy, Marc's relevant and relatable humor skewers sacred cows, dissects societal stupidity and confronts common frustrations, all with humanity and humor. He will have you in stitches!
