Guitarist, producer and bandleader Steve Freund, praised by Rolling Stone for his "masterful, no-nonsense guitar work" continues to share his feeling for the blues wherever he can.

The Big 3 Trio came about in 2017 when Steve had a steady gig at The Elite Cafe in San Francisco. As it was a low volume, almost acoustic event, Steve put together a dynamic trio that crosses into several genres, all based in American Blues.
