The Rowan Brothers Duo was signed by Clive Davis/Columbia Records
and later David Geffen(Warner/Asylum) for their tight brotherly
harmonies and haunting melodies on guitar, mandolin & dobro,
featuring an eclectic mix with a sound of modern-day Everly
Brothers meets the Beatles, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and
Bluegrass.
Special guest, Ken Emerson, a virtuoso lap steel/dobro player,
recorded with Todd Rundgren, Donald Fagen(Steely Dan), also well
known for Hawaiin slack key guitar, part of first compilation
Hawaiin Grammy-winning CD.
Lorin’s music has been placed on TV and film, such as NCIS, Sons
Of Anarchy and others.
